Medical Unit
The Medical Unit, established to provide quality health care services to our campus community, comprises a dedicated team of four staff members. Our team includes one doctor, two nurses, and one assistant, working together to ensure the well being of students, staff and their families. The unit is committed to delivering comprehensive medical care, including emergency services, routine check-ups, and health education.
The Medical unit provide free medicine to students, staff and their families.

Our Medical unit is equipped with
- Two patient beds, ensuring comfortable care for our patients.
- Functional examination bed provided for patient examination as part of our clinical setup.
- Dressing tray equipped for performing sterile dressing procedures+
- Autoclaved dressing drum used for storing sterile gauze and dressing materials
- Autoclave and sterilizer provided to ensure sterilization and maintenance of aseptic technique
- To maintain aseptic technique and prevent cross infection, biomedical waste is segregated in black, blue, red and white color coded bins as per protocol
- Needle incinerator are used for sterilization and safe disposal of sharp
- Equipment provided for routine assessment of vital parameters and blood glucose as per standard patient care protocols
- Wheel chair provided as part of patient care facilities to assist patients with limited mobility
- An LED X ray view box utilized in the medical unit for examination of X-ray film to aid in diagnosis
- Patient vital signs being monitored by nurses as part of routine clinical examination
- Registers for patient and staff records along with reimbursement claim files and procurement files, are maintained in the cupboard to ensure proper documentation and record keeping as per protocol
- Refrigerator at Medical Unit Rabipur used for storing tetanus injection, anti- rabies Vaccine, and other emergency injectables for students and staff.
- Attending to students & staff in the campus, Hostel and quarters.
- Provided prescribe injection to patients as advice.
- Attending emergency duties during non-office hour.
- Escorting the patients who are critically ill to the higher center.
- Doctor’s availability on the call services during non-office hours.
